Britt practises largely in the areas of corporate/commercial, corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. She has extensive experience navigating securities laws, corporate laws, stock exchange policies and the recommendations of shareholder advisory groups in order to advise clients on a wide range of matters in a practical and timely manner. She has acted as lead counsel on complex domestic and international transactions.

Britt has particular focus in capital market and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial matters. She has acted for publicly listed, reporting and private companies and has advised on a broad range of matters, including private and public equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, going public transactions, going private transactions, reorganizations, capital restructurings, stock exchange listings and related continuous listing requirements, corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, insider reporting and advisory arrangements.

Britt acts for public companies, private companies and brokerage firms in relation to equity financing transactions, advising on the structure and negotiation of private and public offerings of securities. Her work in capital markets includes conducting initial public offerings, short form prospectus offerings, base shelf and supplemental prospectus offerings, multi-jurisdictional disclosure system prospectus offerings, brokered and non-brokered private placements and rights offerings.
