Cassandra is a litigation paralegal based in the firm’s Edmonton office. She has experience assisting on all aspects of the litigation process, from initial file review to trial.

Cassandra works in various areas of litigation, including civil, commercial, construction, insurance defence, personal injury, regulatory, privacy, and labour and employment. Her work includes: 

  • Reviewing client files and preparing file summaries
  • Drafting pleadings and affidavits 
  • Reviewing client documents to determine relevancy and privilege 
  • Processing eDiscovery using iPro Tech platforms (Eclipse SE, Desktop for Review and Enterprise)
  • Preparing Affidavit of Records 
  • Preparing file disclosure packages in accordance with applicable privacy legislation 
  • Reviewing questioning transcripts and tracking undertaking responses 
  • Preparing briefs, factums and memorandums 
  • Pre-trial and trial preparation 
  • Enforcing judgments and security agreements
