Joshua was admitted to the Queensland Law Society in 2023, having received his JD from Bond University in Queensland, Australia in 2022. During his time as a lawyer in Australia, he delivered technical tax advice to achieve commercial results for a diverse client base, including high net wealth individuals, SMEs and large corporations across sectors such as private equity, agribusiness, property development and resources. 

He specialized in inbound foreign investment, designing and executing structures for transactions and asset ownership to obtain advantageous tax outcomes for clients. He also advised on and implemented tax effective corporate restructures including holding company interpositions and obtaining small business restructuring rollovers. 

Prior to law school, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies from the University of Alberta in 2020 alongside an Indigenous Governance and Partnership Certificate. Joshua is also an accomplished hockey player, having played in the Western Hockey League for five years, going on to win a National Championship with the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
