Katlyn (Katie) Cooper is a corporate/commercial lawyer who advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, banking and commercial lending, commercial real estate and corporate governance. She works with businesses, investors, lenders, boards and management teams on complex transactions, including capital raising, investment structuring, financing matters and strategic growth initiatives.

Katlyn (Katie) Cooper is a corporate/commercial lawyer whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, banking and commercial lending, commercial real estate and corporate governance. She advises businesses, investors, lenders, boards and management teams on complex transactions, financing matters and strategic business decisions.
Katie assists clients with raising capital, structuring investments and navigating financing transactions at various stages of growth. She works with companies, investors and lenders on debt and equity financings, shareholder arrangements, investor rights, commercial agreements and governance matters. Her practice also includes advising funds, strategic investors, emerging companies and growth-stage businesses on investment transactions, follow-on financings and exit planning.
Having served both as in-house counsel and in private practice, Katie brings practical experience to mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, real property transactions, commercial lending and strategic commercial arrangements. She also advises on corporate governance and securities matters, including continuous disclosure obligations and other securities regulatory requirements.
Katie’s approach is practical and business-focused. She helps clients manage legal risk, structure transactions efficiently and advance their commercial objectives.
