Marissa is a 2025 Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Calgary. At university, she is heavily involved in both the Energy Law club and the Spread the Love club, where she serves as Vice President of Finance.
Prior to starting law school, she worked as a senior project developer working for multinational renewable energy project developers. She has developed over 1 GW of solar and energy storage utility-scale projects in Alberta, including Travers Solar, Canada’s largest solar project.
