Michelle is a partner practising in the area of corporate and commercial law, with a special emphasis on business acquisitions, dispositions, commercial real estate, construction and transportation law.

  • Lead counsel on construction and funding of a large municipal airport
  • Lead external counsel on negotiation of construction of large agricultural processing plant
  • Lead and co-counsel for negotiating construction contracts and heavy equipment procurement for potash mine
  • Providing advice on construction of 40-storey mixed-use tower along with subdivision of airspace titles for office and apartment tower
  • Negotiating development agreements, grant agreements and other municipal agreements for large greenfield development projects, quarries, etc.
  • Lead counsel on purchase and sale of large office buildings and manufacturing facilities
  • Lead counsel on purchase and sale of office, retail, industrial and development properties for real estate investment trust
  • Providing commercial and real estate advice to national grocery retailer
  • Providing a variety of clients with assistance on contract negotiations and interpretation, including truck agreements, rail transportation agreements, marine shipping and port contracts
  • Lead counsel on purchase and sale of aviation and trucking businesses, etc.
  • Providing advice on a variety of commercial business and real estate acquisitions
  • Providing advice to a variety of clients on shareholders matters, buyout, etc.
