Peyton began her legal career in 2017 as a legal assistant with an in-house legal team in Regina, SK, focusing on corporate governance and compliance. She was responsible for preparing and filing documents like articles of incorporation, shareholder agreements, and annual returns, as well as handling corporate transactions such as amalgamations, reorganizations, dissolutions, share sales and capital dividends.
Peyton worked closely with corporate registries and government agencies, including Corporations Canada and provincial registries, ensuring compliance for various entities.
Her leadership skills allowed her to manage minute books, maintain corporate records, and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders on corporate governance matters.
In 2025, Peyton joined MLT Aikins as a corporate paralegal in the Saskatoon office. In this role, she continues to support clients and lawyers with document preparation, maintaining minute books and conducting online filings at the Saskatchewan Corporate Registry.
