On March 4, 2026, MLT Aikins lawyers Saul Joseph and Saravan Veylan will be speaking at Commercial Real Estate Development 2026, hosted by the Pacific Business and Law Institute (PBLI). The one-day program has been developed to give business and legal professionals the tools they need in order to stay competitive in the complex and dynamic commercial real estate industry.

The seminar, Impacts of the Cowichan Decision on Development, will discuss the recent Cowichan decision, including a case overview and status update, going into detail on the impacts of the decision on submerged lands, public infrastructure, fee simple and constitutional scrutiny and implications for practice.
