MLT Aikins Edmonton expands leadership

MLT Aikins is pleased to announce the creation of a new Advocacy practice group in Edmonton, reflecting the firm’s continued growth in the city. Partner Kember Handzic has been appointed to lead this group as Practice Group Coordinator.
The establishment of a standalone Advocacy practice group marks an important milestone for the Edmonton office. It recognizes the scale, complexity and momentum of the office’s litigation practice and positions the team for sustained growth aligned with the firm’s broader strategic priorities.
An experienced litigator, Kember brings extensive leadership experience to his new role, including a previous role as managing partner of another Edmonton firm. “Kember is widely respected for his thoughtful leadership style, commitment to mentorship and people-first approach – qualities that align strongly with the firm’s culture and values,” noted Aaron Runge, MLT Aikins managing partner, “His experience and perspective will be instrumental in supporting the continued development of the Edmonton Advocacy team and strengthening our client service offering.”
