Robert maintains a broad corporate/commercial practice, with a focus on commercial lending transactions, financial services and commercial real estate. He has experience working with a range of lenders and business clients and has experience with transactions covering a wide range of industries, including agriculture, construction and energy. His commercial real estate experience includes assisting with purchase and sale, leasing, project finance, and development and construction matters involving industrial, retail and hotel properties.

In his corporate and commercial practice, Robert has been involved in various share purchases, asset purchases, incorporations and amalgamations. He has also assisted clients with various corporate governance matters and advising on commercial agreements.

While completing his law degree, Robert won the Canadian Bar Association’s Essay Award for his piece on Philanthropic and Charity Law. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada.
