Jennifer Sokal re-elected to Manitoba Bar Association Council

In September 2025, MLT Aikins lawyer Jennifer Sokal was re-elected to the Manitoba Bar Association (MBA) Council, having been voted in by MBA members earlier this year.
Jennifer, who has previously also served as both the Robson Hall law student representative (2016–2017) and articling student representative (2019–2020), began her second term on September 1, 2025, alongside 12 other representatives from the Winnipeg District.
About Jennifer
Jennifer is a litigator and administrative law lawyer, practising in the areas of insurance litigation, construction litigation, general litigation and administrative and regulatory law, including professional regulatory prosecution and defence.
Jenn has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, all levels of Court in Manitoba, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the Saskatchewan Court of King’s Bench and the British Columbia Supreme Court. She has also appeared before various tribunals and administrative bodies and represents the investigation committee of a professional regulator. She has been with the firm since 2018.
