Partner Bob Kasian inducted as Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys
MLT Aikins is proud to announce that partner Bob Kasian was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA) at a 50th anniversary gala held in Chicago.
Bob is delighted to be the only inductee from Canada in 2024 – highlighting his significant contributions to the practice of mortgage law.
Being welcomed as an ACMA Fellow is an honour and offers the opportunity to further connect with leading professionals in the field. This distinction is a testament to both Bob’s legal skills and his place among of the top mortgage attorneys in North America.
Formed in 1974, the ACMA is comprised of 500 lawyers across North America who are experienced in mortgage law. ACMA Fellows share a commitment to giving back to their profession, improving and reforming laws and procedures impacting real estate-secured transactions, and raising the level of professionalism among lawyers practising in this area.
Fellows are recognized for their distinguished work in real estate mortgage law through their skills and practice experience, bar association activities, lecturing, authoring articles and program materials, participation in the legislative process, writing briefs and arguing significant cases in mortgage transactions.
MLT Aikins extends its congratulations to Bob on this notable achievement and looks forward to his continued contributions to our firm.
