Michael Weinstein joins International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC)

MLT Aikins lawyer Michael Weinstein has been admitted as a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). The IADC is a renowned organization comprising the world’s leading corporate and insurance lawyers and executives.

Michael’s litigation focus is on construction law and commercial disputes. His work also includes contract preparation and review, employment issues, builders’ liens, bonding, sureties and insurance. Michael also excels in alternative dispute resolution and negotiation, having taught and practised in this area extensively. He is frequently consulted by industry professionals seeking strategic advice on construction projects and has represented clients in a range of construction disputes, commercial litigation, shareholder disputes and insurance defence.

Michael’s experience extends to appearances before all levels of court in Manitoba, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Supreme Court of Canada, and the Tax Court of Canada. He has also represented clients before various arbitration panels, administrative tribunals and self-regulating organizations.
