Devon Fjellner

Devon assists a variety of businesses on general corporate and commercial matters, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, transactions, capital raisings, securities law and corporate governance.

Devon obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2023. Prior to entering law school, she completed a Bachelor of Commerce from MacEwan University with distinction.

Devon serves as a director on the board of YW Calgary.

Devon developed and acted as the project lead for the immigration project for Student Legal Services at the University of Alberta.

• The acquisition of a group of logistics companies valued at $190 million in the aggregate
• The acquisition of a car dealership valued at more than $58 million
• The acquisition and associated financing of a car dealership valued at more than $36 million
• The sale of an equipment rental company valued at $18 million
• The purchase of a group of transportation companies valued at $16 million
• The purchase of a partnership’s working interest in oil and gas assets valued at more than $172 million
• The acquisition and sale of several fire safety and oil and gas services companies

Capital markets experience

• Lithium Chile Inc. (TSXV: LITH) $7.975-million best-efforts brokered LIFE offering
• Acted for a technology company in its short-form prospectus offering on the TSX-V
• Acted as local counsel with respect to a London Stock Exchange (AIM) listing
• Acted as local counsel with respect to LIFE offering of TSX-V listed issuer
