Geoff practises in the business law department with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and commercial matters. He has experience in advising private corporations and shareholders on the purchase and sale of businesses, shareholder and partnership agreements, corporate finance, regulatory matters, commercial leasing matters and corporate structuring, organizational and governance matters.
- Regular counsel to dentists in connection with the purchase and sale of dental practices
- Represented Amenity Health Care LP in numerous pharmacy acquisitions throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia
- Represented Amenity Health Care LP in its sale to TorQuest Partners
- Counsel to Rubicon Pharmacies with respect to ongoing mergers and acquisitions, regulatory, corporate financing and commercial leasing matters throughout Western Canada
- Represented a U.S. based privately held multinational food and agribusiness company in connection with its cross-border acquisition of an Alberta based inputs retailer and agronomy service provider
- Represented the purchaser of liquids pipelines and related facilities in southern Manitoba and southwest Saskatchewan for $1.075 billion
