Robert maintains a broad corporate/commercial practice, with a focus on banking and commercial lending transactions and the financial services industry. He has experience working with a range of lenders and business clients and has experience with lending transactions covering a wide range of industries, including agriculture, construction, energy and real estate.
In his corporate and commercial practice, Robert has been involved in various share purchases, asset purchases, incorporations, and amalgamations. He has also assisted clients with various corporate governance matters and drafting and advising on commercial agreements. Robert also has experience with commercial real estate transactions involving industrial, retail and hotel properties.
While completing his law degree, Robert won the Canadian Bar Association’s Essay Award for his piece on Philanthropic and Charity Law. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada.
