A member of the firm’s corporate/commercial group in Regina, Laura is a seasoned and versatile lawyer with a track record of delivering practical legal advice that supports clients’ strategic objectives.
Before joining the firm, Laura spent 16 years with Farm Credit Canada, most recently as Director of Corporate Legal Services. There, she led a team of lawyers advising on a wide range of corporate and operational matters including secured lending, risk management, Crown governance, contracts, procurement, employment, litigation management, marketing and communications.
Laura is known for her thoughtful and solutions-focused approach, and her work often involves acting as trusted adviser to business teams on complex and strategic transactions. With a dual degree in Canadian and American law and experience in both public and private sectors, she brings diverse perspectives to her practice. She is driven by the idea of making a positive impact and contributing to long-term sustainability of Canada’s industries.
