Andrew Konopelny elected to the Oseredok Board of Directors

In July 2025, MLT Aikins lawyer Andrew Konopelny was elected to the Board of the non-profit Oseredok Ukrainian Cultural and Education Centre (Oseredok) as a Director, serving alongside ten other board members.
Founded in 1944, The Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Centre (Oseredok) is a museum and archival heritage institution that celebrates the remarkable achievements and legacy of the Ukrainian Canadian community in Canada.
About Andrew
Andrew is a construction lawyer with a range of both procurement and dispute resolution experience ranging from complex industrial and public works projects to small- and medium-sized construction projects. Andrew has advised large public sector and private sector owners on major project development – including utilizing innovative procurement strategies, compensation model structuring and contract drafting and negotiation.
Andrew is a proud Ukrainian-Canadian and has been involved in numerous Ukrainian community organizations and initiatives over the years, including serving as a Director of the Ukrainian Canadian Bar Association.
About Oseredok
Oseredok is an internationally recognized repository, museum, archive, library, art gallery, educational and research centre dedicated to the preservation, sharing, promotion and development of Ukrainian-Canadian and Ukrainian culture and heritage.
It serves as the community’s collective memory by collecting, caring for, documenting and interpreting collections of ethnology, folk art, fine art and archives related to community history.
