On Monday, June 16, MLT Aikins lawyer Scott Exner will speak at the 2025 Americas Agriculture and Food Security Forum in Olds, Alberta. 

Scott will be speaking at “Reimagining Engagement with Canada’s Rapidly Growing Foodtech Sector”, organized by the Canadian Food Innovation Network (CFIN). He will share the panel with Karen Churchill, President and CEO of Ag-West Bio, and Dana McCauley, CEO of CFIN.  

This session will explore how advanced food technologies are boosting productivity, creating partnerships across the Americas and making Canada a launchpad for the future of food innovation. 

About Scott 

Scott has extensive involvement in the agricultural industry, particularly the grain handling sector, and has been active in securing legislative change to promote growth and development in value-added agribusiness. He is recognized as one of the top 50 most influential people in the Canadian agriculture industry by Canadian Western Agribition.  

He also has significant experience in the agribusiness sector, particularly with widely-held companies, providing advice on ESG, corporate finance and securities.
