MLT Aikins is pleased to announce that Ahmed Malik has joined the firm’s Regina office as counsel with the corporate/commercial team and lead of the Regina real estate team.
Ahmed maintains a broad corporate/commercial, real estate, and financing practice advising clients on matters relating to purchase and sale transactions, leasing, land development, and franchising matters. Ahmed acts for a broad range of clients including owner-managed companies, entrepreneurs, franchises, developers, municipalities and institutions. He has extensive experience advising publicly-traded and privately-held corporations in the financial services, hospitality, oil & gas, and agribusiness sectors.
Ahmed’s work extends to mergers and acquisitions, estates and succession planning and municipal law.
Ahmed is an active member of the greater Regina community, having recently served as Chair to the Board of Directors of the Regina and District Chamber of Commerce. He is a Director on the Board of the Regina Food Bank. He is also a member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors and the Regina Bar Association.
