Deron practises broadly in the area of litigation which extends to commercial litigation, construction litigation, and constitutional litigation. He has particular focus on complex commercial and construction dispute resolution including arbitration and litigation. Deron represents clients in all levels of Court in Canada and in local, national and international arbitration proceedings.
With a background in commercial litigation and a wealth of experience in class actions, constitutional law transportation law and construction litigation, Doug has argued cases before all levels of court in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario, and before the Federal Courts and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Jeff has extensive experience in shareholder disputes and represents companies in financial distress, lenders and court officers in restructuring and insolvency proceedings. He has appeared before the Superior Courts in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick; Appellate Courts in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba; and before the Federal Court, Tax Court and Supreme Court of Canada.
Jonathan practises in the areas of litigation and dispute resolution with a focus on commercial disputes, regulatory matters, commercial risk management and media law. Jonathan has appeared before courts at all levels in Manitoba, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Court, General Division, the Ontario Provincial Court, the Saskatchewan Court or Queen’s Bench, the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Shaunt focuses on defending complex multi-party claims, with special emphasis on class actions, mining and industrial site litigation, large loss construction claims and insurance actions. He has represented clients at courts on all levels in Canada, having conducted numerous jury and non-jury civil trials, including a five month trial involving the successful defence of a claim by a group of disgruntled investors against an investment fund.
