Bret carries on a general labour and employment practice, primarily representing management of organizations in a diverse area of industries.
Bret provides advice and representation on all matters relating to labour and employment law, for both unionized and non-unionized workplaces. This includes on matters relating to employee discipline and termination, collective agreement administration and interpretation, human rights, employment standards and workplace safety and health matters. Bret also has experience advising on and drafting employment agreements, workplace policies, and independent contractor agreements. Bret has appeared before the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench, the Manitoba Labour Board and other administrative adjudicators.
