MLT Aikins lawyers present at CPHR Manitoba’s 2026 HR Legislative Review

MLT Aikins was a proud presenting sponsor for CPHR Manitoba’s 2026 Legislative Review, held on May 7, 2026. The Review, which delivers an in-depth overview of employment and labour law developments and trending issues relevant to the HR community, featured presentations from eight of the firm’s labour and employment and immigration lawyers.

Shandra Czarnecki presented on employment law, Davis Hirsch spoke on navigating performance management and progressive discipline, Reis Pagtakhan and Jessica Jensen gave an immigration law update and Curtis Unfried and Jennifer Sokal presented on pertinent workplace safety and health issues. Sarah Carr, Shandra Czarnecki, Bret Lercher and Reis Pagtakhan also appeared on a panel discussion and Q&A session.
