Ian maintains a general corporate commercial practice in the firm’s Regina office.
Ian maintains a general corporate/commercial law practice with experience in corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, ESG, procurement, construction & infrastructure projects and IT contracting.
Ian completed his articles at the Regina office after summering with the firm in 2021 and 2022.
During law school, Ian was selected to represent the University of Saskatchewan College of Law at the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot, where he and his partner placed third out of sixteen Respondent teams. He was also selected to represent the College of Law at the Canadian National Negotiation Competition.
Prior to entering law school, Ian completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Saskatchewan with a major in finance. He also spent a summer interning at an Indigenous economic development organization.
Outside of the office, Ian enjoys golfing, weightlifting, and snowboarding. He also enjoys volunteering and spent nearly four years volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saskatoon before moving to Regina.
