Robbie maintains a general corporate/commercial practice, with a particular focus on construction and infrastructure projects, as well as procurement.

Robbie has extensive experience in construction law and assists his clients to effectively plan for and execute their construction projects from conception to completion. Robbie regularly advises owners and developers on the development, preparation and administration of procurement process, including drafting process documents, evaluating contracts, standard definitions and prescribed forms, negotiating contractual documents as well as managing bid processes and successful negotiations with procurement process participants. He partners with all project stakeholders while collaboratively developing project strategies to ensure alignment and strong project foundations. Robbie also helps clients with dispute resolution strategy and other ongoing project assistance once construction projects are live.

In addition to assisting owners and developers, Robbie has spent much of his career providing steady guidance and firsthand advice to contractors. He has a deep understanding of internal processes, risk tolerances and contractor-side priorities with projects. He has experience in developing and managing occupational health and safety, and health, safety and environment programs. He has extensive experience handling delicate mixed labour platforms for contractors across Canada.
