MLT Aikins would like to extend our congratulations to Melissa Creech, Allie da Silva and Jeffrey Williams on being called to the British Columbia Bar and accepting positions with the firm as associate lawyers in our Vancouver office.
Melissa Creech
Melissa will be joining the firm’s Advocacy practice group, with a practice focused on intellectual property and commercial litigation. Melissa is called to the bar in both Canada and the United States and focuses her practice on helping clients navigate business matters in both countries.
Melissa received her Juris Doctor from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon in 2024. During law school, she clerked for a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. Prior to law school, she earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta.

Allie da Silva
Allie will be joining the firm’s Advocacy group, where she will maintain a general labour, employment and commercial litigation practice in a broad range of workplace matters, professional regulation, regulatory compliance and administrative law matters.
Allie received her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2025. During law school, she provided pro bono legal services as a student clinician through the University of Victoria Business Law Clinic and The Law Centre. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction, specializing in entrepreneurship, from the University of Victoria.

Jeffrey Williams
Jeffrey will be joining the firm’s Corporate group, where he will maintain a general corporate and commercial law practice, advising founders, investors and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance matters and commercial agreements across a variety of industries.
Jeffrey obtained his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall in 2025. Prior to law school, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in political studies from Queen’s University.
