On August 4, 2026, Manitoba-based industrial laundry business Quintex announced its acquisition of Mat Master, a mat and linen supplier that’s serviced Winnipeg, Brandon and rural Manitoba for more than 40 years. The transaction, which closed on July 21, 2026, will expand Quintex’s service offerings while still keeping true to the spirit of quality service that’s an essential component of both family-owned businesses.
Driving the transaction to a successful close was the MLT Aikins Mergers and Acquisitions practice group, led by Scott Markham with support from Jayelle Friesen.

A one-stop-shop for all small, medium and large-sized businesses in need of uniform, mat, linen and facility services, the company continues to be led by the third and fourth generations of the Quinton family.
