Jeremy has significant experience negotiating and drafting complex technology contracts for a diverse group of clients ranging from small tech companies to large enterprises.
In his Aboriginal law practice, Jeremy has assisted Indigenous clients in drafting and ratifying laws, developing governance materials and negotiating service contracts. He has also conducted in-depth legal research and crafted legal arguments and submissions to support Indigenous clients in litigation matters and in advancing rights claims.
Prior to joining MLT Aikins, Jeremy was a Law Clerk at the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, and earlier served as Managing Editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review.
- Counsel to National Consulting Limited and its member credit unions in connection with the acquisition, licensing and implementation of online account management, financial services and financial support services systems and software.
- Counsel to Saskatchewan Government Insurance on a digital transformation project to modernize its core insurance capabilities and position the organization for growth, including preparation and negotiation of agreements for the implementation and integration of new technology solutions for its property and casualty and automotive insurance divisions.
- Counsel to Federated Co-operatives Limited in connection with the implementation of a network of electric vehicle charging stations for affiliated retail co-ops across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.
- Counsel to the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board with respect to its ongoing claims-system modernization project.
- Counsel to Innovation Federal Credit Union with respect to various digital transformation initiatives including the development, implementation and sustainment of online and mobile banking, customer relationship management (CRM), loan origination and branch automation solutions.
- Counsel to the Canadian Radiostereometric Analysis Network Ltd. in connection with the development and negotiation of various clinical research and funding agreements.
