On Thursday, September 17, 2026, MLT Aikins lawyers Scott Bell and Meghan Johnson will present at a full-day employment law seminar for the Banff & Lake Louise Hospitality Association (BLLHA).

Session topics include a review of relevant case law and emerging legal issues regarding:

  • Discrimination, harassment and workplace investigations
  • Immigration: federal and provincial foreign worker inspections and audits
  • AI in the modern workplace
  • Fitness for work and drug and alcohol testing

About the MLT Aikins presenters

Scott Bell practises immigration law with a focus on business and employment-based applications. His clients include private corporations and individuals. Scott has advised various employers and individuals with regard to federal immigration applications, including work permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments, Free Trade Agreement exemptions and permanent residency. He is based out of MLT Aikins Saskatoon office.

Meghan Johnson carries on a general labour and employment practice. With a background in human resources, Meghan has an understanding of a variety of employment issues. Meghan also assists employers in navigating occupational health and safety accidents and investigations.
