MLT Aikins is pleased to have represented FFUN Group in its acquisition of Key Auto Group, a transaction that significantly expands FFUN Group’s automotive retail presence across Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Announced on February 13, 2026, the acquisition adds four automotive dealerships and a collision centre to FFUN Group’s growing portfolio, strengthening its position in key Prairie markets. The acquired operations include Key Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, Key Yorkton Kia and Yorkton Toyota in Yorkton, Saskatchewan; Key Chevrolet Buick GMC in Swan River, Manitoba; and the Key Collision & Paint Centre in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

Headquartered in Saskatoon, FFUN Group operates a diverse range of automotive, recreational, and related businesses across Western and Central Canada. The acquisition introduces several new original equipment manufacturer (OEM) brands to FFUN’s network, further diversifying its brand mix and enhancing its ability to serve customers across both urban and rural Prairie communities.

MLT Aikins acted as legal counsel to FFUN Group on the transaction. The M&A team was led by Ryan Hallman and included Ryan Holfeld and Alanna Meyer; the financing team was led by Erin Eccleston and included Adam Bendig and Alanna Meyer.
