MLT Aikins is pleased to announce the launch of our regulated professionals practice group.
The new group is designed to help doctors, dentists, optometrists, pharmacists, chiropractors, veterinarians and other regulated professionals manage their practices and grow their business, and to advise colleges and associations on enforcement matters.
MLT Aikins regularly works with regulated professionals throughout Western Canada on incorporation, tax planning, the purchase and sale of businesses, and succession planning. We also represent regulated professionals in disciplinary proceedings and disputes with clients.
In addition to acting for regulated professionals, lawyers in our new practice group advise colleges and associations on enforcement proceedings, and offer guidance on determining appropriate sanctions for misconduct, as well as credentialing and continuing education requirements.
