He also conducts reviews, and comments on a company’s intellectual property portfolio to allow potential investors to understand the full scope of the intellectual property rights they are obtaining.
Danielle Graff
Danielle leads the MLT Aikins technology, intellectual property and privacy group. Her practice focuses on technology, data and commercialization and the healthcare and agriculture and food sectors. She assists a diverse client base, from small businesses to large public and private corporations.
Danielle’s experience includes assisting clients with outsourcing arrangements and procurement of information technology services and software, advising clients on privacy law interpretation and compliance issues, providing support in the implementation of IT systems and programs, and assisting both the developers and customers of e-commerce and cloud platforms.
Kristél Kriel
Kristél, who has also been named a Lexpert Lawyer to Watch, co-leads the firm’s privacy, data protection & cybersecurity area. Her experience with complicated cybersecurity, privacy, freedom of information and technology matters makes her a valued asset to clients.

Nathan Schissel
Nathan has acted as counsel in a wide variety of technology-related transactions, including business-process and technology-based outsourcing; software and systems implementation, development and integration, systems support and maintenance; reseller and distribution arrangements; fintech and payment platform development, emerging blockchain technology, internet and e-commerce; cloud services; procurement of information technology and technology transfer.
Nathan has significant experience negotiating and drafting outsourcing, system development, system acquisition/integration, software licensing, support and maintenance agreements, cloud computing agreements (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), application development agreements, payment system agreements, service bureau, reseller and distribution agreements, master services agreements, consulting services agreements, and technology transfer agreements. He also provides technology-related advice on both domestic and cross-border purchase and sale transactions and financings.
