Builders’ Liens

Our construction law team knows builders’ liens inside and out. We help project owners and contractors throughout the life of a project to strategically manage liens, holdbacks, trusts, liabilities and accounts receivable and ensure a successful project completion.

Both before and after problems arise, our builders’ liens team expertly advises all industry participants on liens issues. We assist project owners and contractors to manage holdbacks, risk and potential liability associated with builders’ liens.

Of course is it not always possible to avoid trouble on a construction project, and our team can help you to protect your interests when problems arise. We act for project owners in managing risk when liens are registered and ensuring that they do not interfere with the successful completion of your project. We also act for contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and architects to collect on outstanding accounts receivable and, if applicable, register and enforce lien claims.
